I would like to see a pro take something simple like a 3 phase Cut and Restored Rope and do the trick then explain the timming and pacing theory.

I think this is a great idea. The more people that can learn how to perform magic the more people can start blowing peoples minds. Some people never get a chance to see a real magician up close and live in thier entire life. I've been performing magic for over 20 years and 95% of it was free of charge. The thrill of blowing someones mind satisfied me enough. I hope this course is free for anyone who is interested. I would be more than happy to share my tricks with anyone who is willing to learn.

I like to study some of the deeper stuff like: The psychology of magic (why it works), The methods of magic (how it works), The history of magic (who made it work, when and where), mechanical and structural theory (what makes it work), and other off topics that can be applied to magic like the study of shadows and contrast as opposed to color. Things like that.

I am also interested in topics like "creating routines", "effective use of stage space", "creating emotion", etc.

In general, not looking at any one type of effect, but looking at things that can be used no matter what effect you are performing.

And of course, I second the motion that Darryl made on the business part of the equation.
