Snow Day In Vegas

Today is 12-17-2008 and we have seen the worst snow storm in Vegas since we moved here in 1992. The roads were blanketed with snow and ice, making it extremely treacherous for my drive home from work. The News is even reporting that Schools may be closed tomorrow, as it will be unsafe to drive anywhere. Vegas is ill equipped to handle these type of conditions. All of the "snow" equipment used to plow roads is at Mt. Charleston. We sure could use it down here in the Vegas Valley. Here is a photo… Continue
