I have found that It works better if you allow the blood to settle for about ten secs. then the nail looks very real!!! before you do the reveal try and wait about 5 to 10 secs.

- Introducing Jerry Foster, magician, serving the Simi Valley area. Entered the art of magic at the age of fifteen, Jerry has been entertaining for thirty-eight years. Jerry is known affectionately as "The Demented Magician." Very interactive with his audience, he will successfully switch styles without a moments notice in order to bemuse and throw his spectators into left field. Although Jerry's concept of entertainment may be off the wall, both comedy and drama are incorporated within his shows, always creating a mystical scene, leaving his audience in a true state of awe. Jerry entertains people by leaving them baffled and wondering, "How did he do that?"
Jerry is not considered the everyday magician within the magic fraternity, but more so the "magician's magician," performing in front of large groups of magicians for lecture purposes and teaching the tricks of the trade. His motto involving illusions is, "out with the old and in with the new." Always keeping up with the times, Jerry consistently adds new illusions to his repertoire. His best weapon against his magical peers, when testing out new material, is his puzzling imagination and story-telling capabilities.
Jerry brought his magic to the Jaycees between 1990-1999 to help serve the public by raising funds to send mentally challenged children to "Camp Virginia Jaycee." For his commitment to help those in need, Jerry received twelve honors. His newest fund raiser project was within "The Muscular Dystrophy Association", project between 1999-2003. Raising money and donating personal profits once a year, again Jerry helped his community with his magical skills. Jerry is both a retired Navy Veteran and a Disabled Veteran, his newest project was visiting both Walter Reed and various VA Hospitals, entertaining the veterans.
February 15, 2003, Jerry was selected by Tony Hassini, Chairman of the International Magicians Society to partake in a "Best of The Best Course of Magic." A fifty volume complete magic course, both on Video and DVD. Marketed November 2003, the product was distributed world-wide with Jerry both presenting and teaching his methods of the arcane arts, along with forty-nine world acclaimed magical peers.
Education: Jerry received his Bachelor of Arts, from Marshall University in 1979 majoring in both Photography and Broadcast Journalism. His minors included, English, History and Political Science.
Organizations: The International Brotherhood of Magicians. The Society of American Magicians, The International Magicians Society, The Virginia Magicians Society, The Magicians Alliance of Eastern States, The Disabled American Veterans and The Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc. & The Veterans Coalition.
Within my last Disabled American Veterans meeting Chapter 55 of Simi Valley California, a member introduced me as a professional magician. At the meeting I did about a five minute routine. Once again I will begin performing at the Veterans Hospitals within the Southern California area. The group was totally bemused with the routine and as always put to vote to use my talents for the veterans. A 100 percent vote saying yes! As always there is quite a bit of paperwork involved when taking on these type of projects. It is a pit political, but the chapter wants credit from National Head Quarters and one must follow the rules. I'll have to attend a school for two days and become qualified, but that is not a problem as I did this in Virginia for my work in Richmond at McGuire VA Hospital.
