One can always start with the classics. Cups & Balls, etc. Other good ideas...Out of This World, Ring and string routine, Ambitious Card, good Bobo or Roth coin routines.

- I have been "into" Magic for over 50 years. Yes, I'm an old coot. My Dad did Magic and met Blackstone. Dad & the Doctor were doing Magic for eachother while my Mom was in labor with me. Dad taught me my first Magic and gave me some of his props. I mostly perform for Family & Friends, but also for strangers I meet. I love to read anything I can get my hands on re: Magic..Esp. Magic History.

Thanks Vynn. I just did a 40th birthday party and decided to do my cut and restored rope as a close up item. I have never had such a strong reaction to that trick in 30 years ... one of the guests kept following me around to watch the rope trick.
