Close-up (cards/coins/other), Parlor Magic (magic for audiences larger than close-up and smaller than audiences for stage magic), Street Magic (magic typically performed close-up for random people on the street or other public place) - famous magicians include David Blaine and Criss Angel

oh ok.. thank you very much peng for answering my questions. i had ideas about some of those shuffles you said and some are brand new to me such as the Heinstein shuffle and pull through shuffle. thanks peng for those reference, maybe i will start to raise funds now to buy those books.

I just only watching magic shows for now, then i just only analyze it and perform. i wanted to buy a book about card magic, but it's not available here and also the dvds. if you dont mind me asking again peng.. are there another false shuffles aside from dai vernon's shuffle? sorry if i'm so inquisitive peng. hehe promise, i will not question again and again. =)

Hey peng! how's it goin'? if you dont mind asking.. in a 13 card revelation trick, are they doing full deck retension when shuffling? just curious with that, because some magicians do riffle shuffle and does not do another cut so that the card will retain to the same order.
Just asking aobut that because I'm just planning again to do another of that. I learned now the shuffle of dai vernon and some of apparitions but it really needs a lot of practice.
