I started with Mark Wilsons complete course in magic.
Though it only has one sponge ball routine. That's about what I have right now I'm afraid
If you're looking to get into Sponge balls, the perfect video for you is Sponge with Jay Noblezada. http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=1671

Seriously this covers so much! It goes through sleights and routines. One thing I also found a lot of fun with sponge balls is that pretty much any sleights than can be done with coins can also be done with sponge balls. Play around with the sponges and you'll come up with a routine.

I like to start out my routines with sponges with a single ball.. let the spectators handle it, then place the one ball in my hand and snap my fingers.. open the hand and show two. Then do a couple of things with the two balls, then introduce a 3rd and do the 2 in the hand, one in the pocket trick (on the DVD). When they're gone, the routine is over and I can break out cards, coins, or rubberbands. Also, ending the routine turning a sponge ball into a coin is good, then starting a coin routine is kind of a good transition.
Yes, Mark Wilsons complete course in magic has a pretty solid routine.

Here are two other sources for learning sponge ball magic.

1. Ear Plugs by Jay Sankey. (Instead of sponge BALLS he uses giant sponge ear plugs about the size of sponge balls. This could be a plus because the audience would connect with them better than a random object which they have never seen before). It comes with a full length DVD to teach you sleights and routines.

2. Buy a set of Goshman sponges. Each set comes with four which is good for many routines. Inside each pack there is a peice of paper with a full routine on it. Learn that, and then play around with it to make it your own.
