Where is a good place to do street/walk around magic?
hey guys,I need some ideas on where to perform magic for laymen.I do it at parties I go to,and I've tried a town mall severaly time and it's usually gone great but lately at the mall it's kind of dead and people seem pretty busy...I also go to a carnival with very good success but that's once a year..any ideas?

Where to perform depends on how old you are and the town you live in. If you're doing it for fun and practice, try volunteering at a senior community (they're not all zombies ... there are some bright minds there too)

Yes. It's a great place to try new stuff and hone it down. They are easy on you and just want to have a good time. I don't know your age but Bar Rooms. You can talk to ice cream shop owners etc. and ask if it's O.K. to busk out front. I got a corner of a candy shop in Hyannis for just asking. If you work off tips it's a real good deal for the owner.
Anywhere. Like today I put rocky in my coat pocket with his tail hanging out. I already had the opportunity to use him 3 times in spontaneous performance. Mouth Coils and Flaming Phones or Wallets all invite for the opportunity to perform and draw a crowd. You have to catch them from there though.

Thanks Vynn. I just did a 40th birthday party and decided to do my cut and restored rope as a close up item. I have never had such a strong reaction to that trick in 30 years ... one of the guests kept following me around to watch the rope trick.
