Hi! Since I'm asking everyone else to introduce themselves, I figured I should do the same!
My name is Ryan Ogaard and I reside in the "Magic City" Minot, North Dakota. Minot is located in north central North Dakota (an hour from the Canadian border). The city is called the "Magic City" because it's home to the headquarters of Magicians.com (or so I'd like to think :-) ). Actually, it's the magic city because it "appeared" overnight in the late 1800's (more on this in another discussion)...
Anyhow, I was introduced to magic by my father when he showed me my first magic trick (all card tricks).
Note: check out my post on "My Story of Magical Inspiration" (and please post your own story as well!). Later, at the age of 12/13 I had an opportunity to visit Twin Cities Magic & Costume and it was awesome! That visit was one of those "magical" days that you never forget - like visiting Disney Land or riding your bike for the first time!
Well, in a nutshell, my passion for magic has been with me for a long time! I'm married to a beautiful wife and have two girls (6 and 8) who have a lot of fun playing with my box of tricks. My wife certainly deserves a lot of credit for putting up with my magic habit!
I've owned Magicians.com since '97 and am finally coming around to developing it to its fullest potential... I have a lot planned for the site and look forward to meeting all of you! I'm working with an excellent team, some of whom are members of the site (Cardlifter, DRAAGO, Blake Krabseth, Amber - my wife!). Lets make Magicians.com the best online community for all magic enthusiasts the Internet has ever seen! So please, get out there and invite your friends, post some of your own pictures and videos, write a blog entry or two, and most importantly - have lots of fun sharing your passion for magic!
Well, I'm from Slovakia and I live in little city called Pezinok.
I started to do magic like 2 years ago.
I was sitting in bar, drinking beer and i saw a deck of card laying next to me. SO i showed one of the simpliest tricks ever (and the only one I new) to my friend (girl :-)) who was also the bartender there. I did that trick two times in row and she found out how it was done. After I got home I started to search on internet for another tricks to show her.
That's how i started.
I am one of the few people who do magic around here where I live, so I really don't have anyone with whom i would discuss tricks and so.
I do mostlty cards, but lately I found the MAGIC of the Cup and Balls (i love that).
Coins are also awesome, but still can't get it right. I keep practicing coins a lot, but still can't pull it off. I guess i need some help with that. (anyone??? :-))
I am MAGIC-related-INFO Geek.
My other interests are Music, Movies, Sports (Tennis and golf) and
my girlfriend ;-D
My name is Vangelis Haralampous (Titanas is my artistic name) and I am from Greece.
I started magic since I was very young and at one point I jumped into Mentalism.
Some day after a dream I came up with my first product which was my Titanic Deck. It was a great success, you can find great reviews of it at many magic forums.
4 years ago I become the illusion designer and consultant for a Greek Saturday night TV show "Poli tin kiriaki" on Mega Channel which hosted a section of mostly outdoor big scale illusions of Sankara which is my magician partner in Greece.
By the same time I started working on more magic products and one day I met Nefesch .... Me an him we had a great chemistry in the way we see magic and I produced some of his products.(Hatching, Frozen, SOS and BLOOD). I also become the illusion designer and consultant for Nefesch's Street magic show on Salvadorian TV. I am also working on Sankara's Street magic show at this very moment.
This last year I produced FADE which is also going pretty well for the moment and I also have 2 theatrical shows, one with Sankara and one with Nefesch.
Weird coincidence is that Nefesch and Sankara they both doing similar things on similar time, either they are 2 soul mates that don't know each other OR the reason this happens is me.....LOL
More things to come:
"Titanic Deck DVD" (finally on DVD+extra thing you need to perform it), "The Magic Of Nefesch" (2 volume DVD), "My Big Fat Illusions" (A book of illusions), "Ti MiRA" (Titanas Mind Reading Act) and many more...
Enough with Magic now... last June at 11, me and my wife (Despina) we were so happy because Stelios our son came to life... I wish I could describe how I feel about that but words really can't do that justice!!!
All the best my magic friends,
I'm a nova scotian magic ian (Only one that's here I think...) anyways. I live in a town with...uhhh....carry the one.... ONE magician (Including than me) so that makes me suer nervous to go out and get gigs because it's so different :(
anyways. I've been into magic for about two years and am making pocket change at school doing magic (anywhere from 0-5$ a week.)

Hello, my name is Dayton.
Im 14 years old, and I have been in magic for (just over) a year. I started with Cards, and I knew too much to go on, however I wanted more, making one of the bigest begginers mistake, so I resorted to COINS!!!!!!.
I love them now, they are so cool, and I find them easier practicing then The Pass.
New to this site, seems interesting, and I love connecting with others.
I'm from Canada (Alberta), and have been interested in magic since I was 8. I did magic at Moxies for 3 years in West Edmonton Mall, and since have scaled down to a few shows a year, a lot of those charities, schools, churches, and youth programs.
Truth be told I miss restaurant work...a lot!
My name is Anthony Bass. I've been doing magic for 11 years since I was 5 years old, and have been performing professionally for about 2 years, mostly birthday parties or charity events. I'm looking to do my own work on larger stages, and i'm looking into doing escapes. I live in a VERY small town in Texas, so it's somewhat hard to find work, but by God I do it (I've got to, or else i'm broke)! My favorite type of magic is mentalism, with shock magic coming in close second. I'm also a street magician. It never hurts to get on the street every now and then. That's basically it!
